My husband Kirk died on 19th April 2003 at the age of 39.We were at a barbeque in Portadown when he died suddenly of a heart attack.He was a lorry driver and went across to the mainland.He had 3 sisters,who lived close by.We have 4 children, Danielle who at the time was 20,Kyle who was 16,Nadine was 12 and Hayley was 10.We struggled to come to terms with his death at first,but we are coping really well now.We have a 22 month old grandson Rio who he didnt get to know.I know he would have been proud of him.Our eldest child lives in Kent with her partner Ally who he also didnt meet.He was a fantastic husband and dad, and we will never stop loving or missing him.
